Coach Ken 02/20/2010
Today I picked up the softball equipment for Samantha's softball team. We have our first practice on Monday. Next comes Matthew's baseball which I am also coaching and that should start in another week. Add Comment A Smile, "Thanks, Dad!" 02/19/2010
Today Matthew hung out with me at school. He went to a spirit assembly for Samantha where she received an award. After the assembly we stopped into a kindergarten classroom of my friend Lisa who will be Matthew's teacher next year. He danced, sang and had a fun time with her kindergartners and my sixth graders. Also in the fray was one of my Dream Team moms who is a big help making my crazy ideas reality. Matthew made himself at home in my classroom drawing, playing and having a fun time as my kids doted over him. Matthew enjoyed a snack that the kids picked up for him before we headed off to another assembly, this time a Pep Rally for the middle school. He was a trooper sitting for 45 minutes watching kids sing, dance and receiving awards. As the day continued it was more of the same coloring, drawing and enjoying the kids dote over him. The best part for me was when I would look over at him and see the biggest smile as he told students to be quiet and not talk, or giving them directions. A SMILE that told me keeping him with me and not sending him to his preschool for the day was worth it. A SMILE that shows memories he will have for time to come. A SMILE that said, "Thanks, Dad!" There are moments where I read my Facebook page and wonder what some of my friends were thinking when they made a post. Happy Holidays 12/11/2009
I can't believe how much time has passed since I last posted an entry. I do apologize to my adoring fans for not having something posted recently. With the holiday season upon us I wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Look for more news soon. Customer Service Representatives 09/15/2009
I believe that if you are going to work in a job that requires you to talk that the ability to speak the English language is a necessity. In the same manner if you are going to hire someone to speak to your customers you must hire people who when speaking are clearly understood. To continually ask a person to repeat what they are saying is stressful. Okay, enough soap box preaching. The Day After... 09/15/2009
It is Tuesday morning and the Patriots squeaked out a win. I can tell you that it was great to see Brady back on the field. It was not so great to see him perform below what everyone expected. He finally, in my opinion, began to feel comfortable towards the end of the game. Thank you to the football gods. In a seperate note, Nancy and I won our weekly family football pool. That is one down. Sorry Tom. Friends 09/13/2009
